The Winter Festival in Hue 2023 is featuring an event called the Hue International Music Week. This event is part of a series of functions that aim to provide residents and visitors with a feast of contemporary music and vibrant dances. The opening ceremony saw domestic and international artists delivering impressive musical performances.

Popular foreign artists from the United States, France, and the Republic of Korea, including Andrienne Mack-Davis, DJ 32 French, Sébastien Tellier, Malik Djoudi, and Young Joo Song, have come together for this occasion. They represent various music genres and have been captivating the audience with their talent.

Throughout the week, two to three different groups of artists will be performing each night, ensuring that residents and tourists are entertained with unique music performances.

Nguyen Thanh Binh, the standing vice chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee, stated that the Hue International Music Week is a new contemporary music event held in Thua Thien Hue during the winter season. The festival aims to revive the local tourism sector and serves as a platform for cultural exchange and sharing of experiences among domestic and foreign artists. It is expected to contribute significantly to the cultural scene in the region.
