The week is organized to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930-2020) and the 75th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 1945-2020).
The main highlight of the event will be an opening program and a ceremony to recognize 90 outstanding individuals who have contributed to patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, as well as the development of cultural life in residential areas.
The opening and recognition ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 16 at 8pm and will be broadcasted on a VTV channel.
This year’s event aims to embrace the spirit of national unity and emphasize the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Vietnam.
Apart from the participation of 100 individuals from 16 ethnic minority groups residing at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, around 150-200 artisans will also take part in the event.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the rituals and folk cultural traditions of various ethnic minority groups, which will be showcased throughout the week.
