The Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week, also known as AVIFW, is set to take place with the theme of “Taste of Heritage”. This event aims to inspire designers to create items that promote Vietnamese culture and heritage.

The fashion week will showcase ready-to-wear designs inspired by the natural landscapes across the country. All designs featured in the collections will be made from eco-friendly materials, highlighting the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry.

Furthermore, international designers will join their Vietnamese colleagues in introducing their new collections to the local people. These collections will follow the sustainable fashion trend, emphasizing the supply, production, and consumption of fashion products that ensure environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

Alongside the fashion shows, a string of activities will be held during the event. These activities include an online fashion design contest on Facebook and TikTok, exchanges, workshops on fashion trends, and nearly 20 fashion shows.

The Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week was first held in 2014 and has since become the leading fashion event in ASEAN. It is ranked fourth in Asia, following Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai Fashion Weeks. This year’s AVIFW marks its 15th edition.
