At the request of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, relevant agencies are conducting a study on the feasibility of introducing a trial run of the Trung Son night market in Binh Chanh by September 18, 2021.
The aforementioned plan was formally submitted by the Binh Chanh administration to the municipal People’s Committee on August 22 of the current year for their thorough evaluation and subsequent approval.
According to the plan, a night quarter is to be established in the Trung Son residential area. It is expected to become an esteemed destination for residents of the city and nearby regions, playing a vital role in the economic development of the district.
According to the Binh Chanh administration, the residential area, located adjacent to Districts 4, 5, 7, 8, Nha Be District, and neighboring districts in Long An Province, possesses promising tourism opportunities.
The Trung Son night quarter, spanning over an area of 26,300 square meters, will provide a diverse range of entertainment, cultural, and commercial services. Additionally, it will showcase a selection of One Commune One Product items, enticing visitors from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am nightly.
The area will feature a dedicated square that offers visitors opportunities for leisurely walks, exercise, recreational activities, as well as engaging in entertainment, cultural experiences, and sporting events.
An extensive selection of food options representing each of Vietnam’s three regions will be offered at the venue’s 92 national food stalls.
Nineteen additional food stalls will be exclusively dedicated to specialties originating from Binh Chanh and other areas of Ho Chi Minh City.
There will be a total of 50 souvenir booths and 91 commercial booths at the event.
