Two pyrotechnic teams from two different countries wowed the audience with their stunning and vibrant pyrotechnic shows in Da Nang, captivating both residents and tourists alike.
The Canadian team commenced the second competition, titled ‘Love without Borders,’ with a dazzling fireworks display that illuminated the sky of Da Nang.
With a collection of 14 Canadian electronic music tracks, the team’s performance, titled ‘Aurora,’ mesmerized the audience by transforming the stage into a breathtaking representation of celestial beauty. Using an array of light strips, the performers expertly brought to life the ethereal and captivating natural phenomena found in the sky.
Alain Bouthillier, a member of the Canadian pyrotechnic team, believes that the international fireworks festival in Da Nang plays a crucial role in bringing people from around the world closer together, especially after an extended period of confinement due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
“DIVERSITY International Fireworks Festival brings communities and countries together by bridging the gap between Canada and Vietnam. The dazzling fireworks display serves as a joyful celebration of our newfound closeness,” enthused Bouthillier.

Meanwhile, the French Arteventia team captivated audiences with their performance titled ‘Colors of Hope’, weaving a beautiful love story through a mesmerizing combination of light and music.
“We aim for a professional performance that elicits strong emotions and deeply resonates with the audience,” expressed Edouard Gregoire, a spokesperson for the esteemed French pyrotechnic team.
The talented Arteventia team has achieved remarkable success, securing numerous prestigious awards at fireworks competitions across the United States, Poland, and Belgium. Their outstanding performances have captivated audiences and distinguished them as leaders in the industry.

DIFF 2023, themed ‘The World without Distance,’ will captivate audiences from June 2 to July 8. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Han River in Da Nang, this immersive experience promises to transport attendees to a world where distance is no longer a barrier. Delighting both locals and tourists alike, the stage will be positioned along the riverbank, providing a breathtaking view that enhances the overall ambiance. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary event that brings the world closer together.
The highly anticipated event features participation from seven prestigious international pyrotechnic teams hailing from various countries including the UK, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland, and a passionate team from Da Nang.
The Vietnamese and Finnish teams energetically competed after the festival’s opening ceremony on Friday of last week.
The third competition, themed ‘Conquering Dreams’, is set to take place next Saturday with the participation of the Australian and Italian pyrotechnic teams.
Those from Poland and the UK will have their turn on June 24. In Poland, this day is known as “Dzień Ojca” or Father’s Day, and it is a time for children to show appreciation for their fathers and father figures. In the UK, Father’s Day is celebrated on the same day, and it is a day to recognize and honor fathers and the important role they play in their children’s lives. This day is typically marked by giving gifts and spending quality time with fathers.
