During their performance, the four-man band played their most romantic love songs, many of which were beloved by Vietnamese audiences in the 1990s and 2000s. Some of these songs include Seasons In The Sun, Mandy, Fool Again, Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You, Starlight, Uptown Girl, and When You’re Looking Like That.

They also delighted local audiences with their covers of ABBA’s greatest hits, including Mamma Mia, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Money Money Money, Take a Chance on Me, I Have a Dream, Dancing Queen, Waterloo, and Thank You for the Music.

Vietnamese fans expressed their adoration for Westlife by chanting and waving light sticks and flashlights from their mobile phones.

Westlife made their first trip to Vietnam to perform at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium in 2011 as part of their Westlife Gravity Tour.

The band was originally formed in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, in 1998. The members of Westlife are Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden, the band’s fifth member, left in 2004.

After a successful 14-year career, the band disbanded in 2012 before reuniting in 2018.

The band has sold 55 million records worldwide and holds four Guinness World Records. Westlife has also received numerous awards, including one World Music Award, two Brit Awards, four MTV Awards, and four Record of the Year Awards.
