According to the organizer, the participants can enhance their physical well-being while also supporting the mass wedding ceremony for underprivileged workers.

Approximately 150 couples facing economic hardship are anticipated to participate in the upcoming mass wedding ceremony.

The couples to be included in this event will consist of individuals working in industrial parks and export processing zones, as well as state employees, teachers, and demobilized soldiers residing in the city and surrounding areas.

During the opening ceremony of the Couple Run 2023, Le Hoang Minh, Director of the Young Employee Assistance Center in the city, emphasized the significance of the mass wedding ceremony in honoring Vietnam’s rich traditional culture while fostering a sense of sharing and mutual affection among participants.

“After completing the race, runner Phi Hoang expressed his profound satisfaction with Couple Run, highlighting its ability to bring joy to all participants.”

Over the last 13 years, a mass wedding ceremony has been successfully organized in the southern metropolis. This event has provided 1,022 couples who were facing financial distress with the opportunity to have a proper and meaningful wedding ceremony.

Please register before August 31st to participate in this year’s edition.
