Renowned musicians, including Tung Duong and the boy band OPlus, have released a music video, Vietnam in All Its Colors, an ode to their nation ahead of National Day on September 2.
The video opens with a solemn scene of the artists partaking in a flag-raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square, accompanied by the national anthem and the iconic image of the red flag with a golden star, billowing in the wind.

Tung Duong and OPlus then embark on a journey through Hanoi, showcasing iconic landmarks such as Hoan Kiem Lake, the Hanoi Flag Tower, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ba Dinh Square, and Long Bien Bridge, all from the unique perspective of a double-decker bus.
The music video is a love letter to Hanoi, featuring its most famous sites. It also ventures beyond the city, capturing the breathtaking Trang An Complex, the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, the majestic Ha Long Bay, and the charming Hoi An Old Quarter.
The song itself is a vibrant portrait of Vietnam, celebrating the diverse beauty of its people and landscapes. It evokes a sense of patriotism, a love for life, and the enduring spirit of solidarity and optimism that defines the Vietnamese people. The upbeat, youthful rhythm of the music reflects this cheerful and proud national character.
Tung Duong and OPlus’ deep affinity for their homeland resonates through the melodies, and their choice to don the traditional ao dai while performing under the Hanoi Flag Tower underscores their profound national pride on this significant anniversary.

“The visuals truly elevated the music,” shared Nguyen Quang Minh of OPlus, “and I think everyone involved felt that sense of pride and love for our country when we saw the final product.”
Tung Duong shared the challenges of filming, including a full day of shooting and performing on the bus after their concert at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, despite the scorching weather. In addition to the Hanoi footage, the MV also incorporated contributions from friends and colleagues, carefully curated by OPlus and Tung Duong to present a peaceful and beautiful Vietnam.
“Our hope is that young people will feel a sense of patriotism and motivation after listening to this song,” Tung Duong expressed. “It’s a heartwarming tune, and I believe it will inspire ambition and drive in our youth.”
He further emphasized the timeless importance of patriotism for Vietnamese people: “In any era, patriotism is the most vital, meaningful, and supreme value. It is from this deep love for our nation that we find the spirit to build, preserve, and promote our unique identity. National pride runs through our veins, and for artists, it is an especially crucial wellspring of inspiration.”
