The renowned Belgian hip-hop dance crew, Double Impro, is set to dazzle audiences in Vietnam with their unique brand of artistic innovation. Hailing from Wallonia, this talented troupe will present four captivating performances, with one taking place in Hanoi and the remaining three in the historic Imperial Citadel of Hue.

On June 23, the Youth Theater in Hanoi will host a dynamic collaboration between Double Impro and local dancers from Flame, Sine, and B.Nashor hip-hop groups, promising an electrifying showcase of cultural exchange.

In Hue City, the Belgian breakers will kick off their performances at the opening ceremony of the Hue Festival 2024 on June 7, held at the majestic Kien Trung Palace. They will then take their energetic routines to Quoc Hoc Square on June 9 and 10, engaging with audiences and showcasing their signature improvisation.

Double Impro has garnered international acclaim for their innovative approach to hip-hop dance, breaking free from traditional norms. Their performances are characterized by spontaneous improvisation between the artists and the audience, creating a unique and engaging experience that reflects their motto, “dance can be shared.”

The group’s performances in Hanoi and Hue will feature their signature “Dialogue” routine, where the dancers appear to meet for the first time, sharing stories and expressing themselves through movement. This creates a friendly conversation between the artists and eventually, between the dancers and the audience.

Adi Mino, the heart and soul of Double Impro, has been a dedicated hip-hop dancer since 2012, deeply immersed in the culture, especially breaking. He has traveled globally, attending professional classes and performing on prestigious stages across the United States, Europe, and Canada.

Fugu, a hip-hop and experimental dancer, brings her unique style to the group. With over 20 years of experience, she has studied all hip-hop styles and collaborated with diverse cultures and talents in Belgian and international companies. Her performances blend contemporary, house, floor work, and flying-low, emphasizing fluid and expressive movement.



Bboy-Bounoux showcases his dynamic and skillful moves.

Maway, a globetrotting dancer, actively shares his passion on both national and international stages. He has recently expanded his horizons by delving into the world of contemporary dance, joining the “No Way Back” group for performances across the EU.

Rounding out the crew is Bboy-Bounoux, a specialist in breakdancing since 2017. A passionate advocate for Hip-Hop culture, he began his journey with the “Namur Break Sensation” collective, which played a pivotal role in establishing Hip-Hop’s presence in Belgium. He continues to foster and develop Hip-Hop culture in his home country through various initiatives and events.
