A spectacular art program commemorating the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day will take place on October 10, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. at the My Dinh National Stadium. Expected to draw a crowd of 25,000 people, the event celebrates a pivotal moment in Hanoi’s history, marking the end of colonialism in this ancient city.

Titled “Hanoi – The City of Peace – The City of Flying Dragon”, the artistic performance will feature a mesmerizing display of drone lights, high- and low-altitude fireworks, and pyrotechnics. According to a plan authorized by Chairman Tran Sy Thanh of the Hanoi People’s Committee, the event will be broadcast live on VTV, bringing the celebration into the homes of viewers nationwide.
