Ho Chi Minh City has developed a phased plan to welcome foreign visitors. In the first phase, starting from December 2021, foreign travelers will be allowed to visit the city as part of packaged tours. The second phase, beginning in January 2022, will see an expansion of the first phase. The third phase will mark the complete reopening of the city to foreign tourists, with the timing dependent on the pandemic situation and the outcomes of the first two phases. Other Vietnamese localities, such as Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, and Kien Giang, are also preparing to reopen their doors to foreign travelers in the near future. – VNA
