Vietnam’s first national park, Cuc Phuong, is among the leading destinations in preserving natural forest ecosystems and is also home to the black-and-white langur – a rare primate.

To raise awareness about conservation and promote people’s love of nature, the management board of Cuc Phuong National Park has introduced a number of initiatives, including tours called “bringing wild animals home”. On these tours, visitors learn about the process of rescuing and caring for wild animals, and can also help with releasing healthy animals back into their forest home.

The Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve in Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province, is an intact wetlands area within the Red River Delta. The reserve boasts high-value biodiversity, including two ecosystems – wetlands and limestone mountains.

Believing that biodiversity conservation and natural resources protection must be based on the principles of sustainable development, Ninh Binh has done a great job in raising community awareness about biodiversity, biodiversity conservation, and harmonious coexistence with nature.

Ninh Binh has formed a basis to continue to develop tourism in a sustainable manner, helping the province become a key national tourist area./.
