Normally, the Christmas atmosphere fills Phuong’s house early, as she always spends time decorate it from the beginning of the holiday season. However, this year, it rains a lot, and the house is going under maintenance, so Phuong lingers on Christmas decorations. However, when her children and relatives “constantly ask” and “secretly require” her to beautify the terrace – the favorite corner of the whole family, Phuong decided to spend her free time decorating her house to welcome Christmas.
Phuong shared: “Because the children really like the jubilant atmosphere, the sparkling beauty of the decorations, they urge me to beautify the terrace. Every day I spend a little time do the work. If you count the total time, the decoration takes me more than 2 days to complete”.
In return for her hard work, Phuong receives the happiness of her family members. All of her friends when visiting the house also love to play and sit at this corner of the terrace to enjoy the cool breeze, the Christmas atmosphere created by the Christmas trees, wreath, sparkling lights …

Phuong is not only a flower lover, but she also loves to decorate her house. Noel is considered her favorite holiday of the year. Phuong said: “Everyone in my family loves Christmas. I decorate the small corner brilliantly so that after a long busy day working, as dinner is over, the whole family can gather here to drink tea and have fun”. To Phuong, Christmas has a special meaning of dispelling all the sorrows of the old year and bringing positive energy to a peaceful, happy new year..
In order to decorate the terrace economically, Phuong takes advantage of used items. She only buys things that are necessary but not too expensive for decoration. She mainly makes decorating items her own. When this Nha Trang mother has any time to spare, she looks for images and recommendations from Pinterest and Instagram, then chooses the available items in her house to quickly decorate the terrace.
For Phuong, completing the Christmas decoration means completing the entertainment corner for family members. Still the old space, still the old stuff, but with the ingenuity in the use and arrangement, she creates a new inspiration for everyone when they gather on her terrace every night.
