To position Hanoi as a desirable event destination, the local tourism industry will focus on hosting large-scale events, such as the 2024 Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival and sports tourism series. Cultural and historical activities, along with domestic tourism stimulus programs, will also be organized.
Additionally, agro-rural tourism linked to new rural construction in Hanoi from 2022 to 2025 will be a key area of focus. The department also intends to develop a community-based tourism model, incorporating practical experiences in craft villages and ethnic minority destinations rich in traditional cultural values.
Hanoi’s tourism authorities remain committed to promoting new destinations and tours through various media channels and increasing the utilization of digital applications in tourism management.
