Audiences in the capital will be treated to a captivating performance of Mozart’s Bei Momenti (Beautiful Moment) by the renowned French orchestra, Les Musiciens du Louvre, on August 23 and 24 at the Ho Guom Opera.
Conducted by the talented Étienne Lemieux-Després, and featuring the exceptional soprano Sofia Savenko, the orchestra will take audiences on a journey through Mozart’s immortal musical genius. The program includes the serene and beloved Serenade in G major: Eine kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525, composed by Mozart in Vienna in 1787 concurrently with his opera Don Giovanni.
The German title, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, translates to “a short evening song,” and Mozart intended it to be performed by a small chamber ensemble. However, in modern interpretations, each part is often played by a larger group of instruments, creating a fuller sound.
