Luu Thi Bich Lien, deputy director of the Phuong Nam Art Theater in Ho Chi Minh City and trainer to Hien Phuoc and Thanh Hoa, described the festival as a prestigious quadrennial event.

The seventh iteration of the festival brought together almost 100 artists from 12 countries and regions, including China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

Despite their prior experience in international circus competitions, Thanh Hoa confessed to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper that she and Hien Phuoc were still anxious awaiting the results of this festival.

The performance was also recognized with an excellence award at the Great Wall Cup, an international circus festival held in China.

Lien praised the artists’ dedication, noting their diligent efforts to blend technical skill with artistic expression in their act.

She further highlighted their eagerness to seize opportunities to showcase their abilities and learn from fellow international circus artists.
