Don’t Cry, Butterfly made its debut at the Settimana Internazionale della Critica, a prestigious segment of the Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Circolo del Cinema Verona Award for Most Innovative Film. This award, judged by a panel of young international film critics, recognized the film’s unique and creative approach to storytelling.

During her acceptance speech, director Duong Dieu Linh, donned in a butterfly-themed dress, shared her gratitude and attributed her success to her incredible team. She remarked, “I’ve been living my cinematic dream for the past five years thanks to their dedication and talent.”

The film’s accolades continued with the prestigious Iwonderfull Grand Prize for Best Film, presented by the International Film Critics Council, which came with a substantial monetary award.
