The Melodic Fusion of Cultures: Russia’s Premier Orchestra Performs Vietnamese Music

“Return to the Mother,” “Vam Co River,” and “Reborn” were performed by soprano Anna Aglatova, cellist and conductor Boris Liphanovsky, and conductor Airat Kashaev to a packed conservatory audience.
Minh reflected on the concert’s significance, expressing his hopes that it would strengthen the special bond of friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Russia.
The event also commemorated significant anniversaries for both nations: Vietnam’s 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory over French colonialism and Russia’s 79th anniversary of Victory Day over Fascism in the Great Patriotic War. These jubilees underscore the enduring friendship and shared history between the two countries.
The 56 days and nights of the Dien Bien Phu campaign and the Vietnamese army’s heroic struggle against French colonialists are highlighted at the Dien Bien Phu Victory museum.
