The northern province of Ninh Binh is home to a series of famous landmarks, including the Trang An landscape complex, the UNESCO-recognised World Heritage Site, Bai Dinh Pagoda which is a cluster of Buddhist architectural structures, Mua cave, Tam Coc Bich Dong which is one of the most scenic rice fields in Vietnam, Cuc Phuong National Park, Thung Nham, and Hoa Lu ancient capital.

The upcoming national holidays are considered to be one of the most beautiful periods of the year to view the green rice fields of Tam Coc. From the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, visitors can capture the spectacular views of the ancient capital.

Hang Mua is located in the scenic complex of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, which is about 100km away from Hanoi. Visitors can choose to take a minivan, motorbike, or book tours to get there.

In order to reach the top of Mua Mountain or Ngoa Long Mountain, visitors have to climb 486 mossy stone steps so they can savour scenic views of the architectures that are similar to that seen at the Great Wall of China.

Visitors are also captivated by a giant cactus garden, an artificial waterfall, and a huge lotus pond which sits at the foot of Mua Mountain.

This year there is a flower road next to the lotus pond or a vineyard that runs along the roadside in the Hang Mua area.

In addition, from Mua cave, tourists can take a scenic boat tour to either the Trang An Landscape Complex or Tam Coc- Bich Dong tourist site. Alternatively they can book a trip to capture the stunning beauty of hundreds of butterflies in Cuc Phuong National Park.
