The schedule of the beauty queen has not been revealed, however, Vietnamese newspaper Tien Phong (Vanguard) reported that Palacios will collaborate with the organizers of the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant to prepare for the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 competition and find a representative for Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.
This marks Palacios’ inaugural visit to Vietnam since she won the crown last November.
Vietnam is one of the destinations on her Asian tour, which will also take the Nicaraguan beauty to Hong Kong (China), Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India.
Prior to this, she also made working trips to seven countries in North America, South America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Palacios, who is currently 24 years old, is a Nicaraguan model. She made history by becoming the first Nicaraguan to win the Miss Universe title, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants along with Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
Before competing in Miss Universe, Palacios participated in Miss World 2021 and achieved a Top 40 placement.
