The festival provides an opportunity to honor the strong development of local journalism and the creative works of journalists, whilst also promoting exchanges and cooperation between journalists and the public.

A national press forum will be held on March 15 and March 16 as part of the festival, drawing the participation of over 60 speakers, including representatives of leading media agencies in Vietnam and foreign experts.

The festival is scheduled to last through to March 17, with a view to honoring the significant achievements of Vietnamese press whilst providing an opportunity for journalists to directly interact with the public.
