Community Support for Vulnerable Populations in Border Areas Before Tet Holiday

Recently, in the province of Cao Bang, border guards demonstrated their compassion by offering complimentary medical checkups and distributing gifts to underprivileged individuals in anticipation of the upcoming Lunar New Year celebration, more commonly known as Tet.

On January 6, underprivileged individuals receive complimentary medical checkups at the Tra Linh international border gate station.

Border guard soldiers collaborate with local medical forces to conduct medical checkups and provide free medication to over 100 individuals in Thim Phong hamlet of Trung Khanh district.

Soldiers present 165 Tet gifts to the less fortunate in Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, and Cao Bang provinces to contribute to their full enjoyment of the Tet holiday.

Each gift consists of Tet necessities, thereby contributing to a warmer Tet for impoverished households.

A VND0 market is established to showcase agricultural products, ensuring that disadvantaged individuals can enjoy a happy Tet.

The event highlights the effort to share the difficulties of poverty-stricken individuals in northern mountainous areas. It also serves as an opportunity to further strengthen the bond between soldiers and civilians, spreading the spirit of sharing, love, and solidarity among the Vietnamese people during the Tet holiday.

Border guards also provide special gifts to support underprivileged students as Tet approaches.
