The “K-pop Songs I Love” singing contest, hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency Vietnam Office (KOCCA Vietnam), concluded with a spectacular final show at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in the vibrant city of Hanoi on September 23rd.

Hong Jeong Yong, the Chief Representative of KOCCA Vietnam and head of the organizing committee, expressed his optimism for the program. KOCCA Vietnam aims to provide a platform for Vietnamese youth to showcase their passion for K-pop.
According to him, the program is expected to perpetually reaffirm Vietnamese people’s preference for K-pop and Korean culture in general. Moreover, it aims to further encourage Vietnamese-Korean cultural exchanges.
Hundreds of thousands of K-pop enthusiasts in Vietnam have embraced the captivating melodies of South Korean popular music. The streets of Vietnam resonate with the sounds of renowned Korean music groups like BTS, Blackpink, NCT, Twice, and 2NE1. KOCCA Vietnam aims to foster a sense of unity among young Vietnamese K-pop lovers by organizing a dedicated K-pop music event. This gathering will provide an opportunity for like-minded individuals to come together, revel in their shared passion for K-pop, and promote its appreciation throughout the country.
The “K-pop Songs I Love” contest has returned to Vietnam for its second edition. Held in four major cities including Danang, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi, the event has garnered registrations from nearly 300 Vietnamese youth since August 2023. In the vibrant autumn ambiance of Hanoi, the top 24 contestants from these cities gathered to showcase their talents at this lively K-pop party.

The show featured renowned singers Van Mai Huong and Kay Tran, as well as popular K-pop dance groups 0107 Crew and The A-code. Additionally, K-pop sensation Huynh Thi My Loan also graced the stage with her performance.
