The inaugural Hanoi Fall Festival, themed “Hanoi – Come to fall in love,” is set to take place at Hoan Kiem Walking Space and Hanoi Children’s Palace from September 29 to October 1. This event aims to promote tourism to the capital during the autumn season, widely regarded as the city’s prime time. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to discover Hanoi’s enchanting allure this fall.

The above-stated information was officially declared by Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, the Deputy Director of Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA), during a press conference held in Hanoi on September 20th.

The following is a proposal for the initial iteration of an event celebrating the culture and cuisine of Hanoi on Capital Liberation Day (October 10th), as suggested by Anh.

The festival will showcase 150 booths representing various people’s committees from 10 districts in Hoan Kiem, Me Linh, Quoc Oai, Ung Hoa, Ba Dinh, Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay, Dong Anh, Ba Vi, and Gia Lam.

The event will also feature various art performances, including a captivating photo exhibition showcasing Hanoi’s enchanting autumn scenery. Attendees can also look forward to witnessing a stunning ao dai performance, a vibrant carnival, and an immersive experience room dedicated to Hanoi cuisine. Additionally, there will be a conference focusing on MICE and golf tourism, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities for participants.

Additionally, a total of 14 provinces and cities from various regions of the country will be presenting their unique tourism offerings at the event. These include Phu Tho, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Phu Yen, Dong Nai, and An Giang. Visitors can look forward to experiencing a diverse range of scenic wonders and cultural attractions from these destinations.

The fashion show will feature an impressive showcase of 11 ao dai collections created by 11 renowned designers. Notably, designer Hoang Ly’s “Sign of Time” ao dai will steal the spotlight with its remarkable features. This record-breaking ao dai measures 189 meters in length and is embellished with exquisite stones. Additionally, it is adorned with stunning ancient Vietnamese motifs, making it a true embodiment of traditional beauty.

According to Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, Deputy Director of HPA, the Hanoi Fall Festival 2023 provides a platform to promote the capital city as a captivating, premium, and secure tourist destination. Additionally, the festival aims to highlight the distinctive offerings of Hanoi’s traditional craft villages and cultural legacy.

According to Mai Anh, Autumn is the most enchanting season of the year in Hanoi. During this time, tourists can fully appreciate the picturesque landscapes and indulge in the capital’s exceptional culinary delights.
