The opening night of the event featured captivating music performances by popular local singers such as My Tam, Duc Phuc, Only C, and Hoang Dung.

Additionally, a special art program and an Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) fashion show were also presented during the evening.

The Summer Festival – Wow Da Nang is scheduled to take place from July 28 to August 1 and will include 11 cultural and sporting activities.

Within the festival, there will be a Vietnamese and international cuisine festival from July 28 to August 1. This event will showcase over 50 booths offering 100 special dishes from various regions and countries around the world.

Notably, a paragliding tournament called “Flying over Tien Sa” will take place at Son Tra peninsula, featuring 100 teams from professional paragliding clubs. Participants will demonstrate their skillful techniques while enjoying the stunning scenery of Da Nang from above.

In addition to these activities, there will also be a kite art performance along the coastline from Tho Quang beach to Non Nuoc beach.

Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, highlighted that this year’s event aims to attract more tourists to the central city and further establish Da Nang as a destination of festivals and one of Asia’s premier tourist destinations.
