Bui Quoc Thai, the director of the provincial Department of Tourism, recently expressed that the arrival of the Costa Serena cruise ship is indicative of the recovery of the local tourist industry. He believes that this development is a positive sign for the future of the area’s tourism sector.

Phu Quoc is expected to serve some passenger cruise ships in the upcoming period, Thai Nguyen, the Chairman of the Phu Quoc People’s Committee, confirmed. He added that the island is ready to provide the necessary services for the cruise ships, as well as to ensure the safety of all passengers during their visit.

The Costa Serena vessel will further bring international guests to the Vietnamese island early next year. With its arrival, the island is expecting to witness a surge in tourism and hospitality businesses.

To better service international cruise guests, the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang is making concerted efforts to improve its tourism infrastructure and streamline entry and exit procedures for visitors and vehicles. The government is investing in the development of appropriate facilities that will enable travelers to have a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience when visiting the area. This includes ensuring that all necessary documents are ready for entry and exit, and that vehicles are properly registered and ready for transport. In addition, the province is also implementing measures to ensure that any potential safety concerns are addressed and that tourists get the best possible service.
