This was announced by Cao Hong Nguyen, head of the tourism management division at the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, on Sunday.
On the evenings of April 30th and May 1st, the Stelia Beach Resort and the Apec Mandala Phu Yen will host a spectacular buffet party showcasing the skillful filleting of tuna and a mouthwatering selection of tuna dishes. Meanwhile, the Sala Grand Tuy Hoa Hotel will open a rural-style market and offer a drool-inducing buffet party.
Ta Van Tho, the General Manager of the Apec Mandala Phu Yen Hotel, declared that Phu Yen is the birthplace of tuna fishing in Vietnam. Not only that, the area offers an abundance of delicious tuna recipes that locals and visitors alike can enjoy.
Besides savoring delicious tuna dishes, guests will be able to witness the impressive display of tuna filleting and cooking skills by chefs in person, Tho said.
According to a representative from Stelia Beach Resort, its gala dinners will not only showcase the tuna filleting and cooking skills of its chefs, but also feature art performances.

Major hotels and coastal accommodations in Tuy Hoa City have seen an impressive occupancy rate of 90-100% for the holiday season, with many smaller hotels still having rooms available for booking, according to an official statement.
