Quang Nam Province saw a tremendous surge in tourist arrivals in the first quarter of this year, welcoming 1.63 million visitors, representing a four-fold year-on-year increase, as reported by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Of the total, 765,000 were international travelers and 865,000 were domestic guests, representing an increase of 85% and two-fold, respectively, compared to the same period one year ago.
