Vietnamese Female Boxer Reaches Quarterfinals of World Championship

Nguyen Thi Tam of Vietnam emerged victorious against Modukanele Lethabo Bokamoso of Botswana in the Round of 16 of the 2023 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championship in India on Tuesday, earning her spot in the quarterfinals.

On the same competition day, Tam’s teammate, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hao, was eliminated from the Round of 16 by Italian boxer Irma Testa.
