In their first routine, Van and Phung wowed the judges and spectators alike, scoring an impressive 9,040 points. They maintained their momentum in the second routine, achieving 8,980 points, which brought their average score to 9,010 points.
The Danish duo put up a strong fight but ultimately settled for second place with an average score of 8,970 points. Meanwhile, teams from Iran and Myanmar tied for third place, each proudly taking home a bronze medal.

The day before, Van, alongside Nguyen Thi Le Kim and Lien Thi Tuyet Mai, reigned supreme in the U50 female team category, outperforming South Korea in a tightly contested finale.
