In a surprising turn of events, Bruno Cantanhede managed to score an equalizer for Thanh Hoa in the 64th minute.

In another match played on the same day, Hanoi FC emerged victorious with a scoreline of 3-2 against Viettel FC, which is owned and operated by the military-run telecommunications corporation of the same name.

As a result, both Cong An Hanoi and Hanoi FC concluded the season with 38 points each.
However, the title was claimed by Cong An Hanoi based on their superior goal difference.

The achievement is notable as it was accomplished in their inaugural season following their promotion to V-League 1 from the second-tier V-League 2.
During the 2003 season, Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC became the first team to achieve this feat, followed by our team who accomplished it as well, making us the second team to do so.
The 2023 V-League 1 is the 67th professional season of the highest division in Vietnamese football.

V-League 1, which is Vietnam’s top-flight football tournament, has announced all its upcoming fixtures will be postponed through the end of March, becoming the latest among several other cultural, sporting and entertaiment events canceled or delayed in the country due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) epidemic.
