The National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting has announced that the weather in the North will remain sunny, with temperatures reaching above 28 degrees Celsius before a cold wave arrives.

Cold air will start affecting the North and then the North Central region. In these areas, temperatures will drop to a minimum of 16-18 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas experiencing freezing temperatures.

From the night of January 10 to 12, scattered light rain is expected in the Northern and North Central regions. From the night of January 12 to 14, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some areas.

Weather forecast in different regions

Northwest region: The weather is predicted to be rainy with scattered fog in the early morning, and sunny in the afternoon. The lowest temperature will be 18-21 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature will range from 24-27 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 28 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region: The weather will be rainy and cloudy in the early morning and afternoon, with scattered fog in some areas. The lowest temperature will be 18-21 degrees Celsius, and in some mountainous areas, it may drop below 16 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will range from 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The northern part will experience rain, with scattered light fog and mist in the morning. It will be cold at night and in the morning. The lowest temperature will be 18-21 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature will range from 25-28 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: It will be rainy and cloudy during the day, with showers in some areas. The lowest temperature will range from 21-24 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will reach 25-28 degrees Celsius in the North, and 29-31 degrees Celsius in the South.

The Central Highlands: Nighttime will be cloudy with showers in some areas, while the afternoon will be sunny. The wind will be northeast to east at level 2-3. The lowest temperature will be 17-20 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature will range from 28-31 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 31 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region: There will be showers at night, and it will be sunny in the afternoon. The lowest temperature will range from 23-26 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature will reach 31-34 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 34 degrees Celsius.
