FLAsia is the most international event of its kind, providing an excellent platform for brand owners to showcase innovative and unique business concepts. This is the second time Vietnam is participating in the event, with the presence of the Vietnamese trade office in Singapore, Hanoi’s Department of Industry and Trade, and 17 companies.
Singapore‘s Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Low Yen Ling, highly appreciated Vietnam’s participation in FLAsia 2023 and recognized the potential and strengths of Vietnamese brands. She expressed her admiration for the new products displayed by Vietnamese businesses at the event.
Vietnamese products at FLAsia 2023 have also attracted the attention of Singaporean and international businesses, as well as diplomatic officials from other countries.
Within the framework of FLAsia 2023, the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore and the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade organized a conference on Singapore’s Halal market, connecting Vietnam-Singapore businesses. More than 100 Vietnamese businesses registered to attend the conference online, while nearly 100 Vietnamese and Singaporean businesses attended in person.

Speaking at the conference, Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore, Mai Phuoc Dung, highlighted Singapore’s experience in commercial development, particularly in the Halal industry. Singapore’s Halal certification system is recognized by Islamic countries such as Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other major trading partners. With its good certification system, Singapore serves as an ideal gateway for Vietnamese businesses involved in the production, trade, and re-export of Halal food products to major Islamic countries.
FLAsia2023 provides a diverse and unique range of product and service brands, making it the ideal platform to meet brand owners and franchise leaders. Franchisees can also benefit from their in-market knowledge of business, marketing, and talent strategies to further the success of brands in local markets. Dickson Low, President of Franchising and Licensing Association, emphasized that Singapore is a lucrative market and a springboard for both master franchisors looking to expand in the region and aspiring individuals seeking opportunities. FLAsia2023 is the key knowledge exchange and business networking platform for franchisors and franchisees.
