At a meeting with the head of the Republic of Korea’s Defence Acquisition Programme Administration (DAPA), the two sides expressed satisfaction with the development of the nations’ comprehensive strategic partnership. Especially, bilateral cooperation in the defence industry and military trade sectors has been focused, reaping tangible results.

Talking to VNA correspondents on the sidelines, Tan affirmed Vietnam’s high regard for defence cooperation with Malaysia, based on the foundation of diplomatic relations between the two countries for over five decades, since 1973.

He noted that through this working visit, the Vietnamese delegation aims to meet with partners and professional defence industry companies to prepare for the second Vietnam International Defence Expo in December.
