Travelers’ Choice Awards 2020, the highest title of TripAdvisor, has honored worldwide destinations in 9 categories of “Best of the Best”. This is an annual award voted by TripAdvisor’s travelers, one of the top websites reviewing travel around the world.

The results were based on all reviews, ratings and archives of travelers in 2019 across the world. Outstandingly, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh ranked 7th and 12th in top 25 popular destinations in the world.

The criteria for these places were to have more searches, preferable bookings, positive reviews and top rankings throughout the year. TripAdvisor also described Danang as “a laid-back and friendly destination.” There are about 902 amusements, including Ngu Hanh Son, Ba Na Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda.
“Culinary tours are a hugely popular way to experience literal local flavor. After you’ve stuffed yourself with bold noodle soups and savory street foods, walk it off by exploring the limestone caves and Buddhist grottos of the Marble Mountains,” said the website.

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City was described as Vietnam’s bustling largest city, leading the culture and economy of the country. “The former Saigon boasts charming French colonial architecture and wide boulevards, usually thronged and choked with traffic. Taxis are an option for seeing the sprawling city.”

Besides, Phu Quoc ranked 7th in the top 25 Emerging Destinations, the award mentioning all about what’s next – “ahead of the curve” places around the world, according to Tripadvisor review interest and Saves data. Top attractive activities in Phu Quoc reviewed by tourists are bathing, diving, experiencing Dong Duong market.

From can’t-miss iconic cities to new surprises, Popular Destinations honored the spots that travelers raved about most on Tripadvisor this year. Hanoi and Hoi An ranked 15th and 17th in this category. The website described Hanoi as a place of Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture. “Hanoi may have shrugged off several former names, including Thang Long, or “ascending dragon,” but it hasn’t forgotten its past, as sites such as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison attest.”

Hoi An was depicted as a small city on the central Vietnamese coast which is “a well-preserved example of the important Southeast Asian trading port it was from the 15th-19th centuries”. The website also informed this is already a popular destination for backpackers, and nơ began to attract most tourists.
