The Vietnamese Embassy in Rome recently hosted the second congress of the Vietnamese Students' Association in Italy for the term 2023 - 2025.

Vu Thi Bich Diep was reelected as President of the Vietnamese Students Association in Italy.

More than 40 delegates representing nearly 1,000 Vietnamese students and graduate students living, studying, and working in all regions of Italy attended the event in person and online.

The congress focused on reviewing and evaluating the activities of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Italy during the 2021-2023 term.

The Vietnamese Students’ Association in Italy outlined its goals and orientations for the association’s activities and the Vietnamese student movement in Italy for the term 2023 – 2025. Specifically, the Association aims to promote the strength and spirit of youth, promote the image and people of Vietnam to Italian friends, and people across the world.

The congress elected 21 outstanding association leaders, members, and students to the Executive Committee, representing the will, aspirations, and intelligence of Vietnamese students in Italy to successfully carry out the association’s tasks, programs, and student movement for the 2023 – 2025 term.

For the first time, the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Italy, term II, consulted to elect 5 students to join the Secretariat. Vu Thi Bich Diep was reelected as President of the Vietnamese Students Association in Italy term II, while Dang Huu Hoang (Civitavecchia) and Ngo Hoai Phuong (Messina) hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnamese Students Association in Italy for the 2023 – 2025 term.
