In 2019, Da Nang welcomed almost 8.7 million visitors, with more than 3.5 million of them being international travelers. The city’s tourism industry earned an impressive VND31 trillion ($1.3 billion USD). As a result, Da Nang has established itself as a premier tourism destination in Vietnam, accounting for 20% of the total number of international tourists coming to the country, according to VietnamPlus.
