According to legend, there was an old fairy who stumbled upon Son Tra and was captivated by its beauty. Finding a large, flat rock, the fairy sat down to enjoy the scenery and even created a Chinese chess board on the rock.

One day, a master chess fairy named De Thich passed by and challenged the old fairy to a match. After several days of intense gameplay, neither fairy was able to emerge victorious, resulting in a draw.
While enjoying the game, a group of beautiful goddesses appeared on a nearby beach, now known as Tien Sa Beach. The distraction caused De Thich to make a fatal mistake, leading to his defeat. After the other fairy returned to heaven, De Thich remained on the peak, determined to find a way to unravel the chess game.
