1927, 1300, 1305 Milestones, Binh Lieu
Binh Lieu is a high mountainous district located in the northeast region of Quang Ninh province. From October to November, the grass on the hillsides along the way to conquer the landmarks will bloom in white color. The higher you go, the narrower the path becomes. It is crooked along the ridge and slopes. The most special of which is the paradise of reed grass at the landmark 1927 and the road like the “backbone of the dinosaurs” to the landmark 1305 on the highest peak of Quang Ninh.

Tourists should spend two days checking in border landmarks, watching reeds blow in the breeze or witness a marvelous sea of clouds at dawn or dusk. In order to stay overnight and eat, remember to look for local homestays such as A Dao, A Piu, Hoang San, Song Mooc… or budget guesthouses.
It is noted that tourists need to bring identification cards at border areas. The weather at the end of the year in the mountains of Binh Lieu is quite cold and windy, so you’d better bring a warm jacket. You should prepare drinking water, snacks or prepare lunch in advance if traveling all day.

Cao Ly Mountain, Binh Lieu
Cao Ly is a high mountain range stretching over 40 km2 with 8 peaks over 1,000 metres in height in the border district of Binh Lieu. Cao Ly Mountain, also known as Co Don mountain, is about 10 km from the center of Huc Dong commune. It is a favorite camping and picnic spot for groups of young people or families. By the end of October, this place is an ideal spot for hunting clouds. The campsite is about 30-40 minutes walking from the top. Motorbikes and cars can reach the campsite.

Just one night camping, waking up around 5-6 a.m or waiting until 4 – 5 p.m, tourists can watch the dance of the clouds. During the time of exploring Cao Ly mountain, tourists are suggested to combine with visiting Khe Van waterfall. It is the highest waterfall in Quang Ninh province.

Phuong Hoang mountain, Uong Bi
Phuong Hoang mountain range is located in Bac Son ward, about 8 km from the center of Uong Bi city, about 50 km from Ha Long city, and 135 km from Hanoi. The mountain range has been discovered by tourists and local photographers for more than a year, quickly becoming a check-in and camping spot. The end of the year is a beautiful time to explore this area because the grass hills turn a fiery yellow, the weather is cool and the sun is no longer as intense as summer.

To come here, from Uong Bi city, visitors go to the cultural house in zone 4, Bac Son Ward, then ask for directions to 12 slots, zone 6. Visitors traveling by self-driving cars can park their cars at people’s houses, then Use a motorbike taxi service, or walk about 2 km to the campsite. Tourists traveling by motorbikes or cars specializing in off-road driving can drive to the place.
The lawns in Phuong Hoang mountain are very suitable for exploring and camping at the weekend. It is noted that this destination is still wild and does not have many tourist services. Tourists must bring their own belongings and avoid littering.

Binh Huong Mountain, Uong Bi
Binh Huong is a mountain range located in Vang Danh ward, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province. The mountain range extends 3 km, located 10 km from the center of Uong Bi city. Similar to Phuong Hoang, Binh Huong is also a spot not to be missed for those who are passionate about backpacking, nature exploration and weekend camping.

From the foot of the mountain to the top about 4-5 km, visitors can rent a motorbike driver or move by cars. The road in Binh Huong is more crooked than in Phuong Hoang mountain. Sunrise and sunset are said to be the great time to discover Binh Huong mountain. If you intend to catch the sunrise, you should start at the foot of the mountain at 5am, fortunately you will see a gentle sea of clouds in the morning mist. And watching the sunset, you go from 15am is reasonable.
Tourists can reach the top of mountain by motobike or on foot, however, it is essential for them to be careful as the slope here seems quite high and dangerous.
However, tourists can also admire the vast grassy hills, take pictures to check-in with dwarf pine hills, wild rocks along the road, camp overnight to watch the sunrise in the morning.
