The Vietnam – Czech – Slovakia Friendship Association of Phu Tho province was established on May 3, 2013, with 64 members. During the past term, the Association regularly connected and exchanged information to introduce and promote potentials, strengths, trade connections, and learn about the investment market between businesses in Phu Tho province and enterprises of Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.

| On September 20, the Vietnam – Czech – Slovakia Friendship Association of Phu Tho province (Association) held its 3rd Congress for the term 2023-2028, during which new members of the Executive Committee were elected. |
During the 2023-2028 term, the Association has set out four key tasks, including improving the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy activities, organizing economic and cultural cooperation and exchanges between the people of Phu Tho province and the people of Czech and Slovakia, mobilizing and creating favorable conditions for foreign organizations to operate effectively in the province, and attracting businesses and overseas Vietnamese investors to Phu Tho province.
The Congress elected 9 members to the Association’s Executive Committee and issued the Congress’s Resolution.
On this occasion, the Central Association awarded Certificates of Merit to a group and an individual who have made great contributions and engaged in positive activities in developing and strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic for the term 2018 – 2023. The Union of Friendship Organizations of Phu Tho province awarded Certificates of Merit to a group and four individuals with outstanding achievements in people-to-people diplomacy activities for the term 2018 – 2023.
