The inaugural “Happy Vietnam 2023” photo and video contest has recently commenced.

The contest, initiated by the Ministry of Information and Communication on June 15th, is open to submissions from both Vietnamese citizens and foreigners residing in Vietnam.

According to the organizers, the winning pictures and video clips will be used extensively in various media outlets and social networks to showcase the beauty of Vietnam and its welcoming people on a global scale.

This exhibition serves as a platform for the Vietnamese community, both at home and abroad, to express their unique perspectives on their homeland through the captivating medium of visual language.

Domestic and foreign individuals/organizations are invited to submit entries to https://happy.vietnam.vn from June 15, 2023 to September 15, 2023. There is no restriction on the number of entries.

The contest offers an impressive array of cash prizes, with a total value exceeding VND400 million (US$17,000). Participants have the opportunity to win a first prize valued at VND100 million ($4,260), a second prize worth VND30 million ($1,300), or a third prize worth VND20 million ($850). Additionally, there are 10 consolation prizes, each worth VND5 million ($213), as well as other exciting rewards up for grabs.
