This exhibition showcases pivotal moments, events, and accomplishments in Vietnam’s diplomatic history, featuring numerous diplomatic documents unveiled for the first time.
Among the newly unveiled documents is the notebook of Nguyen Thi Binh, who led the Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam’s delegation during the Paris Peace Talks.
A letter exchanged on August 5, 1995, between Vietnam’s Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cam and US Secretary of State Warren Christopher officially confirmed July 12, 1995, as the date diplomatic relations were established.
UN General Assembly resolution admitting Vietnam as a full member on September 20, 1977.
A Chinese-script passport issued by the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry in 1945-1946.

The exhibition features diplomatic materials related to President Ho Chi Minh, including the envelope of his telegram sent to the Government delegation upon their return from signing the 1946 Provisional Agreement with France.
President Ho Chi Minh’s 1946 National Day speech in Paris and Ta Quang Buu’s notes on Ho’s diplomatic efforts are also showcased.
On display are President Ho Chi Minh’s business card, invitations from Vietnam to Indonesian President Sukarno, and Sukarno’s invitation to Ho.
Diplomatic documents tied to historic milestones, such as the 1973 Paris Agreement, are on display.
The 1954 Geneva Accords on the Cessation of Hostilities in Vietnam.
The Declaration on Vietnam’s accession to ASEAN in 1995.
Highlights of Vietnam’s diplomatic achievements from past to present are showcased.
