Presented by the Ho Chi Minh Museum, in collaboration with the Department of Political Theory, the Archives Department of the Party Central Committee Office, and affiliated entities, this exhibition offers a profound exploration into Ho Chi Minh’s transformative journey to Russia.

It illuminates Ho Chi Minh’s path to Russia, a nation inspired by Lenin’s leadership and the triumph of the October Revolution. Lenin’s visionary ideas served as a beacon, profoundly influencing Nguyen Ai Quoc—later known as Ho Chi Minh—in his quest for national liberation.

During his time in Russia, Ho Chi Minh lived, studied, and engaged in revolutionary endeavors, forging a deep bond with the country and its people. Archival records of his three visits (1923-1924, 1927, 1934-1938) offer an authentic glimpse into his formative years of study and revolutionary work.

Delegates immerse themselves in the documents and artifacts showcased at the event.

The exhibition unfolds across three compelling themes. The first, “In Search of a Nation’s Path,” chronicles how Nguyen Ai Quoc-Ho Chi Minh, in 1920, discovered the route to national liberation through Lenin’s teachings. His three sojourns to Russia were marked by study, revolutionary engagement, and the cultivation of strong ties with the Russian people, leading to the innovative application of strategies to free colonial nations.

The second theme, “The Enduring Vietnam-Russia Friendship,” celebrates over 75 years of sustainable relations between Vietnam and Russia, rooted in the foundations laid by Ho Chi Minh and successive leaders. From the 1994 Treaty to the elevation of their partnership to a comprehensive strategic level in 2012, the bond between the two nations has remained warm, steadfast, and resilient amidst historical challenges.

The final theme, “Unveiling Rare Artifacts,” showcases items presented to the Vietnamese public for the first time. Highlights include *The Fifth World Congress of the Communist International, 1924*, a photographic collection from Ho Chi Minh’s 1955 visit to the Soviet Union, and autograph collections from the Ural Geological Museum, offering vivid insights into his 20th-century diplomatic endeavors.

Open from December 8, 2025, to April 2026 at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi, the exhibition invites the public, particularly the younger generation, to delve deeper into President Ho Chi Minh’s journey and the enduring diplomatic legacy he bestowed upon Vietnam.
