Chau Loan, a Vietnamese designer, has created a collection of 83 Ao Dai inspired by traditional Vietnamese culture, including images of carp and dragon.
The Miss Global pageant was first held in 2013 and it is the pageant with the widest age range in the world, with contestants ranging from 18 to 35 years old.
This year marks the 10th edition of the beauty contest, with the participation of 83 contestants from around the world.
Doan Thu Thuy, 28, from the northern province of Phu Tho, has been crowned as 2022 Miss Fitness Vietnam. She will represent Vietnam at Miss Global 2023.
The main activities of the pageant will take place in Vietnam, with the semi-final night scheduled for January 13 in Phu Quoc. The grand final will be held on January 18 in Cambodia.
Vietnamese representative Nguyen Thi My Duyen was among the Top 11 contestants in Miss Global 2019. Last year, Vietnamese beauty Doan Thi Hong Trang did not win any prizes in the pageant.
