The Peruvian Gastronomic Week began on October 24th, offering a unique opportunity to savor and discover the delightful tastes of authentic Peruvian cuisine expertly crafted by a talented chef from Peru in Hanoi.
The Embassy of Peru in Vietnam also introduces Peruvian coffee products, spices, food, and beverages to visitors.
Since 2012 the World Travel Awards organisation has nominated Peru 10 times on the list of the world’s top culinary tourism destinations, with the South American country also being honoured in the category of top culinary tourism destination in the region.
In 2022, the South American nation brought home the title of world’s leading culinary destination for the fourth time.
Times Square (Vietnam) Investment Joint Stock Company has expanded its restaurant portfolio by opening the Latin American restaurant ‘Salsa’ on Nguyen Hue Boulevard in District 1, HCMC.
Hue cuisine is different from food in other parts of Vietnam and is characterized by its diverse ingredients, delicate preparations, and artful presentation. In recent years, local authorities and people have been working hard to promote Hue cuisine to the world.
Vietnam has been named as Leading Heritage Destination, Leading Cultural Destination, and Leading Culinary Destination of Asia at the prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA) 2020.
