The municipal youth union collaborated with the administration of Cai Rang District, where the floating market is located, to initiate a program to encourage the local community to maintain the city’s cleanliness, beauty, and safety.

The program encompassed activities such as collecting and sorting garbage in the vicinity of Cai Rang Floating Market, removing paper advertisements in Le Binh Ward, Cai Rang District, and planting trees in Phu Thu Ward, also situated in Cai Rang District.

Cuong added that this initiative also provided an opportunity for the youth in Can Tho to actively engage in social work aimed at maintaining a clean environment.
