The event as among the activities in response to the 97th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2022).
The collection of 100 portrait paintings of Vietnamese female journalists was selected from the more than 500 paintings created by journalist Huynh Dung Nhan over the past two years.
Journalist Huynh Dung Nhan has donated the collection to the Vietnam Women’s Museum, No. 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, in order to contribute more interesting stories and multi-dimensional perspectives on many contemporary issues of society.
Journalist Huynh Dung Nhan (currently living in Ho Chi Minh City) is a writer who has made an impression in the newspaper industry in the reportage genre. In addition, he also writes books and participates in teaching.
Journalist Huynh Dung Nhan and three female journalists participate in the exchange programme with the audience.
Within the framework of the event, there was an exchange programme between the audience and journalist Huynh Dung Nhan and three female journalists – archetypes of the paintings.
They included journalist Tran Thi Sanh, journalist Ha Kim Chi and journalist Nguyen My Hanh. The three female journalists from three generations, working in different fields at press agencies, shared many touching thoughts and stories about their lives and careers.
