The gala night featured a demonstration of flower arrangements presented by 34 floral designers from Vietnam and 18 countries and territories worldwide.
In the Championship category, Nguyen Chi Thai and Ngo Hau of Vietnam received the gold and bronze prizes, while Denny Lam of Singapore was awarded the silver prize.
Additionally, three Vietnamese contestants received consolation prizes.
The most popular design was created by a Korean contestant, and the best creative design was achieved by a Vietnamese participant.
In the Friendship category, flower designers from the host country won the gold, silver, bronze, and consolation prizes.
The 37th World Flower Council Summit took place in Da Lat city from September 8 to 12, making it the first event of its kind held in Vietnam.
With the theme “Vietnam-Blooming with timeless charm,” the summit welcomed over 200 attendees, including renowned designers, experts, flower arrangement artists, and scientists from 18 countries worldwide.
A variety of activities were organized during the five-day event, including a floral display, workshops on fruit, vegetable, and flower design, and flower fashion shows.
Originally initiated in 1983 by the World Flower Council (WFC), the World Flower Council Summit aims to celebrate the value of flowers and the flower industry, promote global peace, and share the love and knowledge of flowers.
