This year’s submissions to the contest can be either single images or photo sets, covering six topics, including Vietnam’s nature, material culture, intangible culture, daily life, Vietnamese Ao dai (traditional long dress) and travel with Vietjet.

The event is open to all Vietnamese people and overseas Vietnamese, as well as foreigners living in Vietnam.

Each photographer can send their photographs via e-mail to [email protected] before October 1.

The top 100 photos will be displayed in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and in an online exhibition.

The awards ceremony is expected to be held in late November. The organising board will present 18 prizes, including a special prize "sky prize" with a free year on the domestic journey of Vietjet. The prize will be awarded to beautiful pictures of nature, culture, and travelling with Vietjet.

Since it was first held in 2012, the contest has attracted a large number of organisations, individuals and photographers in the country and abroad. The event has contributed to promoting the most beautiful images of Vietnam to international friends as well as raising public awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritages and natural values.
