The provincial administration has officially launched the operation of two night markets located at Children’s Park and Yen Phi Park in Xuan Huan Ward.

The night markets will be in operation until Thursday of next week.

The markets feature a diverse range of stalls showcasing the unique products and cuisine of the province.

Despite heavy rainfall on Tuesday night, a multitude of tourists and locals were enthusiastic about attending the night markets.

Thu Tra, a tourist visiting from Ho Chi Minh City, was captivated by the allure of the night markets.

She purchased a variety of souvenirs and local specialties from the province.

“The scale of the night markets currently remains modest. We aim to expand the markets and offer a greater variety of products to better cater to tourists, providing them with a wider range of options,” she stated.

Numerous local businesses have expressed their delight over the province’s decision to open night markets, providing them with a valuable space to sell their products and helping to enhance the diversity of tourism offerings and services available.

The provincial government is currently in the process of developing plans to open an additional night market in the prominent location of Dam Wet Market, situated in the heart of the city.

According to the Khanh Hoa Province People’s Committee, the launch of these night markets has a twofold purpose: to showcase the region’s local products and delicacies to tourists, and to stimulate the night economy by promoting business and production activities. Additionally, it is expected that these markets will contribute to an increase in residents’ incomes.

The provincial administration has recently approved a comprehensive plan for nighttime economic development up until 2030.

The province aims to prioritize culture and entertainment, cuisine, shopping, and tourism to enhance its nighttime economy.

Khanh Hoa offers travelers a variety of entertainment services, pedestrian-friendly streets, and a selection of seaside pubs during the initial stage.

Prior to the inauguration of the aforementioned night markets, Nha Trang, a renowned coastal city, unveiled a night market conveniently situated near April 2 Square.

The night market operates daily until 11:00 pm.
